The Douglas Police Department has announced a donation of over $800 was made to the Doug Flutie Foundation For Autism.  In April, the department sold patches with the proceeds benefiting the organization.  The goal of the Flutie Foundation is to help improve the quality of life for people and families affected by autism.

The organization said, “We are grateful for your generous community support for autism acceptance and inclusion!”

Patches were $10 each and sold in the lobby of the police station in Douglas.
