Drug Take-Back Event Planned For Saturday In Dudley

On Saturday, April 24th from 9AM to 1PM, the Dudley Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration will conduct another prescription drug “Take Back” event.

The public is encouraged to safely dispose of expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.  The service is free and anonymous and will take place at the police station located at 71 West Main Street in Dudley.  In a post on Facebook, Dudley Police Chief Steve Wojnar said, “During our previous events, large quantities of prescription medications were taken in.”  He also encouraged residents to mark their calendar and take advantage of the event this weekend.
