On this week’s episode of Get Your Local On, Brian Kretchman stopped by to chat with Tamara Beland about Kretschmann Brewing Company in Webster.
The brewery started out in 2012 on Thompson Road, and is now located at 9 Frederick Street behind the Webster Police station. In 2014 a German themed taproom was added, followed by an outdoor beer garden. Find out how Brian decided to give up his career as a software engineer to start his brewing his own beer, malt beverages, cocktails and sodas. The beer hall at Kretschmann also has live entertainment on a regular basis; including the The Beer Show, an interactive medieval manor-style musical comedy all about beer. THE LAKE 940 will also be doing a live radio broadcast from the brewery on Sunday, August 12.
Kretschmann Brewery and Beer Garden is open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 9PM, Fridays from 4PM to Midnight, Saturdays from 2PM to Midnight and Sundays from 12 Noon to 7PM.
