New Billboards To Combat Addiction In Worcester
If you are driving through Worcester in the next month, you’ll probably see District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.’s new billboard campaign encouraging people to lock up their prescription medications. This is in an effort to combat the ongoing opioid crisis hitting many families.
The D.A.’s office says, “We know the path to opioid addiction often starts with one pill. We hope these ads will remind people to properly secure their medications and possibly prevent a loved one from becoming addicted.”
As a reminder, The Webster Police Department will be holding a free narcan training later this week. For more details click here.
