One Arrested After Southbridge Drug Investigation

Southbridge Police executed a search warrant for narcotics at the 3rd floor apartment of 616 Main Street on Wednesday, June 20th.
The search was the result of a lengthy ongoing investigation by Detectives with the Southbridge Police Department into the distribution of narcotics in the area.
Police say approximately 8 grams of suspected heroin packaged for distribution, numerous Suboxone strips, various paraphernalia and cash was found in the apartment.
39 year old Jamie Ramirez was charged with possession with intent to distribute class A heroin – subsequent offense and possession of class B Suboxone – subsequent offense.
He was held at Southbridge Police Headquarters pending arraignment in Dudley District Court on Thursday June 21st.
