Ribbon Cutting Set For New Uxbridge Fire Station
The community is invited to visit Uxbridge Fire Department’s new headquarters on Saturday, April 21st at 10AM for a ribbon cutting and open house event. The station will be open during the day to allow residents an opportunity to visit and see the station.
According to a post on social media, “There are still many punch list items being taken care of, and work is continuing on the outside including the new parking lot.” All of the work is expected to be completed in time for the open house.
The 14,000 square foot building is located right next to Uxbridge Town Hall on South Main Street. Annual election voters approved funding for it in May of 2015 and construction began in late 2016.
