Connecticut State Police have announced the arrest of 22 year old John Goodnow, also known as “Wild Boy” and “Crazy”.

Troopers were called to a home in Thompson in October 2016 to investigate a robbery.  At that time, numerous firearms were reported stolen.  A lengthy investigation took place, which included the use of DNA evidence and using the national database for stolen firearms.

In February 2017, while investigating a similar burglary in Worcester, Goodnow was found to have stored multiple stolen firearms inside his apartment, including items belonging to the victim of the Thompson break-in.

On October 29th, Goodnow was released from the Worcester County House of Corrections and taken into custody by the Connecticut State Police, where he was charged with burglary and larceny in the 3rd Degree.  He is being held on a $50,000 cash/surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Danielson District Court tomorrow morning.
