All Clear After Bomb Threat Evacuates Dudley District Court
THE LAKE 940 has learned members of the Dudley Police and Fire Departments responded to a bomb threat at the Dudley District Court located on West Main Street. Groups of people could be seen evacuated outside as police were investigating inside on the morning of Friday May 4th.
Dudley Police tell us a call was received at the Framingham State Police call center warning of a possible suspicious device. The building was evacuated and searched by emergency responders, court officials, and members of the Massachusetts State Police and Worcester Police Department Bomb Squads.
Federal agents from the Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives were also on hand to assist. No suspicious devices were found and court resumed shortly before 11AM.
