The Southbridge Police Department has issued a warning to residents after they received several reports of a suspicious male driving a white passenger van going door to door trying to sell cleaning products.
Southbridge Police say he is sometimes accompanied by a female and may have other occupants inside the van.
The Southbridge Police Department says they have not issued a permit for anyone to go door to door selling cleaning products and they ask that you notify them immediately if you are approached this way.
Police remind you that it’s never a good idea to allow strangers into your home. All verified door to door sales people will have been issued a permit and photo ID by the Police Department.
