Congratulations are in order to all of the recent graduates of the Massachusetts State Police Municipal Academy.  About 80 officers from all over the state participated in the graduation ceremony at the academy in New Braintree on Friday, September 14th.

The town of Webster welcomes new Officers Patrick Trainor, Daniel Mehlhouse, and Kaitlyn DiBuono.  The Dudley Police Department welcomes Officer James Mastrogiovanni, who worked part-time as a reserve police officer before joining the academy in April.  Dudley Police Chief Steven Wojnar says, “Officer Mastrogiovanni did very well during his training and will be a fine addition to the Dudley Police Department.”

Southbridge had 2 graduates of the academy on Friday, welcoming Officers Ryan Sweeney and Jaylen Dottin who also successfully completed more than five months of training before joining the department.

Finally, it was all in the family for retired Charlton Police Officer, Mark Lapriore, who proudly pinned his son Matthew’s badge on him as he begins a career with the Brookfield Police Department.

Best wishes for a happy and safe career with all of your respective departments.
