Oxford Police are investigating a domestic incident that took place on Tuesday evening that left one man and one woman dead at 234 Old Webster Road.

THE LAKE 940 has learned a 911 call was placed at around 5:20 PM on Tuesday afternoon after shots were fired.  According to a post from Charlton Police on Facebook, “Three children, ages 13, 4 and 3, were present at the time of the incident.”

The woman was found deceased in the kitchen of the home, the man’s body was found outside.

On Thursday, Worcester County District Attorney Joe Early, Jr. identified the female as 34-year-old Jamie Dickinson and the male identified as 38-year-old Jesse Brooks.

A 13-year-old boy is being credited with saving the 4-year-old by jumping out a window and running to a neighbor’s house.  A 3-year-old was removed from the home by police.  The children did not suffer any life-threatening injuries.

The Massachusetts State Police and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office are assisting Oxford Police in the investigation.

District Attorney Early says the children received trauma-related services at the Oxford Police Department and are being taken care of by social workers for the time being.   A GoFundMe page has been created to help with expenses for the children which can be found here.
