Swimmer Drowns In Webster Lake

Southbridge Fire
Crews from several local Fire and Rescue departments, including Webster, Oxford, Southbridge and Auburn were dispatched to the Lakeside Boat Ramp on Lakeside Avenue in Webster for the report of a distressed swimmer around 7:30PM. Dive teams began looking for an 18 year old male who was reported missing a few minutes later.
The body was recovered and removed from the scene just before 9PM. The identity of the victim has not been released.
