Fully Vaccinated? Sign Up For Your Shot At $1 Million

June 16, 2021

Mass.gov

Are you fully vaccinated against Covid-19?  If you are, you could soon be a millionaire (before taxes, that is.)

On Tuesday, June 15th, Governor Charlie Baker announced the “VaxMillions” lottery contest for residents of Massachusetts.

To be eligible, you have to be 18 or older, live in Massachusetts, and be fully vaccinated for the chance of winning one of five $1 million cash prizes.  If you are between the ages of 12 and 17, those students can enter for a chance to win one of five $300,000 scholarship grants.

Baker said that he is “hopeful that this giveaway will give another reason and opportunity for people to choose to get vaccinated here in the Commonwealth.”

The sweepstakes begins on July 1st and drawings will be held once a week for 5 weeks beginning on July 26th and ending on August 27th.

Baker reminding residents who may not be vaccinated yet, “The vaccine is free and now could be your ticket to winning $1 million.”

Massachusetts currently is the number 1 state with more than 4 million fully vaccinated people so far.

A random generator will be used to select the winners with assistance from the Massachusetts Lottery.

If you need to find a vaccine, a lot of places are offering walk in availability, you can find one closest to you here.
