Man Hiding In Closet Arrested at Senior Housing In Leicester

Leicester Police, acting on a tip, responded to an apartment at 1073 Main Street. After an investigation they took a male into custody who was wanted on 7 outstanding arrest warrants. He was arrested without incident after being found hiding in a closet.
He was booked at the Leicester Police Department, where he was being held without bail upon being transferred to Spencer. The 56 year old man, is scheduled to appear in East Brookfield District Court on Friday. He was staying with a relative at the location where he was arrested. His name was not released, or what the warrants were issued for.
