Traffic Alert: Central Turnpike Lane Closure

Sutton Police have a Traffic Alert for drivers of Central Turnpike. Whether you take Exit 7 off of Route 146 and head towards Oxford, or are traveling from Charlton or Oxford to get on to Route 146, you’ll need give yourself some extra time.
On Tuesday, April 17th and Wednesday, April 18th lane restrictions will be in place in the area of Central Turnpike and Putnam Hill Road. Police will be directing traffic as only one lane will be getting by from 7AM to 3PM both days.
This is near the location where the new Sutton Police Department will be located, the site of the former Blue Jay Restaurant.
