Oxford Fire EMS

Well, yesterday it was beer in Thompson that tied up traffic on Route 395 North, today it was potatoes in Oxford.

At around 8:15 on Saturday morning, Oxford Fire-EMS responded to Route 395 for a fuel spill coming from a damaged tractor trailer truck.

A load of potatoes was being transported on Route 395 South when the incident happened just before exit 4.  There were no injuries reported.

Traffic was slow and some motorists had to find an alternate route during the cleanup, but everything is now back to normal as we wait on the winter storm heading our way.

Latest on the forecast here from Accuweather.
