Thompson Man Arrested For Operating Illegal Car Dealership

On January 11, 2018 at approximately 4:30 pm, Connecticut State Troopers were informed of an outstanding arrest warrant drafted by officials from the Thompson Town Hall for a Zoning Violation. The arrest warrant application alleged that 32 year old Darnell Delouis was operating an illegal auto dealership from his residence on Riverside Drive in Thompson.

Troopers on patrol spotted Delouis driving on Riverside Drive in Thompson in a vehicle that he was trying to sell.  Troopers stopped the vehicle and immediately placed him under arrest.  Delouis was transported to Connecticut’s Troop D where he was processed and charged with C.G.S. 8-12, Zoning Violation.

Delouis was released on a court set bond and is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on January 25, 2018.
