Police have announced that two 16-year-old juveniles, one male and one female, have been arrested in connection to a recent armed robbery at Patriot Gas in Dudley.  The pair was taken into custody by the Connecticut State Police.

Police say the male is from Hamden, CT and the female is believed to be from Canterbury, CT.  Both will face charges in Connecticut in connection with several similar robberies there, according to Dudley Police.

They are expected to be returned to Massachusetts at a future date to face charges of armed robbery while masked and other offenses.  Evidence was recovered from these individuals which included clothing, masks, and a silver and black pellet pistol.

Dudley Police say that video surveillance played a helpful role in assisting with evidence toward identifying the individuals.  Because of their ages, the suspects names have not been released.

In a press release, Dudley Police Chief Steven Wojnar said, “It was a great example of solid police work by many officers from multiple departments, working in collaboration with the community to solve a series of serious crimes.”
