Car Removed After Driving Off Dudley Boat Ramp

On Tuesday, October 2nd, around 1:30AM, first responders in Dudley were dispatched to a motor vehicle that had driven off a boat ramp near 23 Pattison Avenue.

The driver and passengers of the vehicle were able to safely escape the car that had been partially submerged.

Members of The District 7 Dive Team were called to assist in removing the vehicle from the water, and help the tow company recover the submerged car.  After about 2 hours of hard work in the pouring rain, the car was removed around 3:30AM.

Oxford Fire Department also helped out with mutual aid.  No word on if any charges will be made in connection to this crash.

No injuries were reported.
