Large Oil Spill In Oxford Makes Routes 56 & 20 Slick

On Wednesday afternoon, crews are on scene of a “large oil spill” reported on Route 56 in Oxford near where it crosses with Route 20.

Oxford Police, Fire and EMS report that MassDOT and the Department of Environmental Protection have been called in to assist.  If you need to travel in that area you are asked to use extreme caution as the roads are slick at this time.
