Free Pizza Delivered To Webster Dentists
It was “all smiles” at the dental offices on Thompson Road in Webster when free lunch was delivered to the staff of Dr. Stephen Lorkiewicz and Dr. Ryan Harrington. Of course, being Covid-19 safe, those smiles were hidden under protective masks.
With all the hardships that came in 2020, there were also countless stories of courage and resiliency from healthcare workers, first responders, pharmacists, grocery clerks, teachers, childcare workers, and so many other heroes out there on the front lines.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Papa Gino’s Pizzeria has chosen to spotlight individuals through their community donation program, Pizza My Heart.
The restaurant chain has given away over 1,300 extra-large pizzas to over 150 organizations in the last year all over New England.
Deena McKinley, the Chief Marketing Officer for the company tells THE LAKE 940, this program “allowed us to do our part in supporting the heroes in our communities who shouldered so much of the burden that came with this challenging year.”
Recipients are chosen through nominations from community members. If you know a first responder or essential worker that you would like to nominate, click here.
Mckinley added, “We’re grateful for the opportunity these programs provide to connect with our neighbors, learn about the amazing things going on in our communities, and then reward the individuals involved with delicious food.”
